You will be the kind of person who wants to make a difference within your day-to-day work, but of course there are a few other requirements, other than having a passion for IT:
Available for a 4 month contract
Interest in developing IT problem solving and people skills
Excellent customer service skills
Calm, assured, and empathetic nature
Experience with ITSM systems is preferred but training will be provided
Excellent team working skills
Previous experience with enterprise solutions such as Google Suite, iOS, Windows 11, ServiceNow, MobileIron & Nexthink is preferred but training will be provided
Experience with iOS devices (iPhone, iPad & Mac), Windows hardware, and meeting room technology is preferred but training will be provided
Previous experience in building and configuring computers is preferred but training will be provided
In this role you will be working in and amongst the IT services team to provide problem solving and support with queries and problems. You will also be responsible for:
Provide proactive, customer-focused, face-to-face onsite support to end users
Support the imaging and configuration of a large number of computers
Ensure swift resolutions to IT queries or problems
Log and track end user incidents using ITSM systems
Work within SLAs
Build strong relationships with team members and end users
Learn and build knowledge of the products and services provided
Help end users make the best use of the products and services
Provide both reactive and proactive maintenance support
Job Title: Junior IT Technician
Location: Welwyn
Salary: £12.50 - £15.00 per hour (PAYE), excluding holiday pay OR £16.58 - £19.89 (UMB)
Full Time: Monday - Friday, hours between 8:30am - 6:00pm (7.5 hours per day)
