Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the dynamic team. This role will be based in the Uckfield office, with regular travel to various project sites across South England. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee the financial and contractual management of multiple scaffolding and brickwork projects from inception to completion.

Cost Control: Prepare detailed cost reports, manage project budgets, and ensure cost efficiency across all projects.

Contract Management: Handle contract administration, including the preparation and management of claims, variations, and final accounts.

Tendering and Procurement: Assist with the preparation of tender documents and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.

Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that all work is being carried out in accordance with the contract specifications.

Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 contractors, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any contractual issues that may arise.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with site managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting any risks or opportunities.
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the scaffolding or brickwork sectors.

Education: Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.

Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in relevant QS software and tools.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various sites across South England as required.
