We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Partner within the People Function. This role will be based on site in Coleshill.
Role Description;
The EDI Partner will support the effective implementation and embedding of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) strategy for the project, executing and exceeding the works information by effectively working in partnership with a range of EDI stakeholders and groups to deliver the project’s Skills Legacy objectives.
You will manage specific EDI projects relating to supply chain and recruitment and share best practice, seeking opportunities to strengthen and integrate EDI into the delivery of the project-wide plans in these areas.
You will provide guidance and hold others to account on delivery in relation to developing plans, policy, guidance and resources to deliver the strategy for supply chain, recruitment and internal training and activities to promote and develop our inclusive culture as an IPT.
Your work will help to ensure that over time, our approach to diversity and inclusion on the project becomes a positive differentiator in the attraction and retention of talent
Experienced required
Role model our project, knowledge of the global EDI agenda and evidence of your own achievement in implementing EDI initiatives.
Experience of presenting to, communicating, influencing stakeholders at a range of levels
Strong communication skills and a desire and will to engage in person across different site and sublot locations to drive EDI conversations and activity
Naturally inclined to challenge the status quo and dig deep into project requirements.
Demonstrable resilience and attention to detail
Solid administration skills including excellent IT capabilities spanning MS Office (particularly O365 Outlook, Word and Excel) and capacity to swiftly pick up bespoke IT systems and tools.
Proven track record in the interpretation of data to tight timescales
Ability to manage own workload and prioritise activity to deliver required outcomes within a busy and fast-moving environment

About Balfour Beatty VINCI
Balfour Beatty VINCI is a long-established joint venture between two powerhouses for the delivery of critical infrastructure across rail, transport and other iconic projects in the UK and beyond. We started working together over 30 years ago to deliver the Channel Tunnel, as members of the TransManche Link consortium. In the Midlands, it is Balfour Beatty VINCI’s role to design and build the route, ready for tracks and signalling to be installed. Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
Overall, we will be building the following across all our sites:
• 9.3km of viaducts
• 62 overbridges
• 35 cuttings
• 56 culverts
• 62 embankments
• 2 twin bore tunnels and 2 cut and cover tunnels
• 28 underbridges and 11 underpasses
