Overview
A world-leading supplier of fire notification devices, is seeking a Fire and Security Tech Support Engineer to join their team. The role involves providing phone and email technical support to customers, addressing product-related queries, and ensuring technical verification of new products. Responsibilities
Provide phone and email technical support to customers regarding fire and life safety systems
Address customer queries related to fire notification devices and other product-related issues
Conduct testing and technical verification of new products
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution of technical issues
Engage in customer-facing activities to provide on-site support and training as needed
Qualifications
Strong understanding of fire and life safety systems
Electrical bias with relevant technical qualifications
Excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior experience in a technical support or similar role is advantageous
Day-to-Day
Provide phone and email support to customers, addressing technical inquiries and issues
Collaborate with the product development team to conduct testing and verification of new products
Engage in customer-facing activities, including on-site support and training
Stay updated on industry advancements and product developments to ensure accurate and effective technical support
