Logistics Office Team Leader
Streamline is currently recruiting for an Office Team Leader to assist our client based out of Tilbury, this will be working within the logistics industry.
What is the main purpose of the role?
As the Operations Office Team Leader, your role is to ensure that the office runs smoothly every day and the team follows high standards for health and safety procedures.
Main responsibilities:

Managing the daily operations of the Operations team

Helping with depot health and safety checks
-
Checking picked orders and loaded vehicles
-
Monitoring the Operations Inbox and handling bookings
-
Scanning documents and maintaining essential stationary
-
Participating in stock takes
-
Creating management reports like credits and returns, and working with IT to design something in BisTrack
We prefer candidates who have:

Understanding of Health and Safety compliance
-
Experience in a team leader position or managing process or staff is desirable

Excellent relationship building skills, able to influence and negotiate
-
Ability to identify and evaluate potential risks and develop solutions to mitigate
-
Ability to work at a fast pace to meet key deliverables
-
A good understanding of computer and transport management systems is beneficial
