Job Description: Room Leader (Level 3)
Reports to: Team Leader
Location: Nursery-based in Walton-on-Thames KT12
Salary: £30,992.00 per annum
Role Purpose:
Manage the daily running of the room and support the management team in delivering high-quality childcare. This role includes travelling to other settings as needed and supporting other sites.

Early Years
Implement and follow EYFS standards
Comply with Ofsted and legislative requirements
Act as a key-person and role model
Handle parent queries and adhere to safeguarding practices
Conduct room auditsPeople
Lead and manage staff in your room
Involve in recruitment and induction
Support staff training and performance management
Manage staffing rota and return-to-work meetingsFinance

Essential:
Full Early Years qualification
Knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted framework
Experience in team leadership
Understanding of health and safety and equal opportunities
Safeguarding training and paediatric first aid
Satisfactory DBS checkDesirable:
Higher Early Years qualification or willingness to study
Management/leadership qualification or willingness to studySuitable People:
