We are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Technician to join a managed service provider based in Sheffield. This role focuses on providing first-line technical support to clients, ensuring efficient resolution of issues and excellent customer service.
Helpdesk Technician (1st Line Support)
Sheffield/Onsite
£25,000 - £27,000
Main Duties:
Act as the initial point of contact for technical support queries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating more complex problems to senior technicians when necessary.
Provide assistance with software installations, upgrades, and configurations.
Maintain accurate records of all support activities and interactions using the ticketing system.
Ensure timely resolution of service requests to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Assist with user account management and password resets.
Contribute to the development and improvement of technical documentation and knowledge base articles.Tech Stack:
