Social Work Partners are looking for a Team Manager for The Leaving Care Team for Bury Council.
Info about team and role:
Leaving Care Team Manager will be responsible for providing direction and leadership to a team that delivers successful pathway plans for young people in or leaving care.
Key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing a team of Personal Advisors and the development of individualised pathway plans for young people transitioning out of care.

Providing guidance and support to social workers and other team members. Ensuring that they adhere to policies, procedures, and best practices.

Advocating for the rights and well-being of young people in or leaving care. This includes liaising with external agencies, schools, and healthcare providers.

Identifying and managing risks related to young people’s safety, mental health, education, and housing.

Working closely with other professionals, such as psychologists, educators, and housing officers, to ensure holistic support.

Monitoring the quality of services provided by the team and implementing improvements as needed.

Job Requirements:

Social Work qualification
-
Previous experience within LAC/Leaving Care team
-
Right to work in the UK
-
SWE Registration
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Children's Team Manager
-
Completed ASYE
