Job Title: QC/QA Manager.
Location: Uxbridge.
Salary: Up to £80K dpeending on experience.
RELATIONSHIPS: 1.1. Directly responsible to Project Manager.
Working with the wider team to ensure the efficient delivery of the project/business need. 1.2 Directly Supervises:
• All quality personnel;
• Document controllers;
Assured quality throughout design, manufacturing, supply and handover by implementing the Project Quality Management System, ensuring quality as an assured deliverable. The result will be a quality product demonstrated by completeness of certification as integrated within the overall project schedule that is actively managed and delivered without detriment to project schedule or cost.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establishment and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System.
• Ensure the interests of the client and stakeholders are understood and respected
; • Manage and implement the Project Quality Management System, ensuring that the performance of the Project Quality Management System is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure it continuing suitability and adequacy.
• Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
• Manage all quality personnel.
• Development of quality induction and training to all personnel.
• Managing the program of internal / external auditing.
• Review of subcontractor’s quality audit schedule, monitor sub contractor’s audit schedule, and participate in selected audits.
• Enforcing quality objectives as a means of assuring quality.
• Interfacing with stakeholders within the project ensuring that procedures and plans are reviewed and remain relevant.
• Ensuring corrective actions, non–conformances and deviations are closed within the agreed timeframe and reporting on trends.
• Interact with management and staff to set clear quality expectations and influence performance including the application of the quality policy and project specific requirements.
• Monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with approved processes and procedures.
• Monitor, investigate, identify, and raise quality issues to the Project Team.
• Development of monthly quality reports.
