Crest Nicholson have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join our Midlands Division based our of our office in Tamworth on a part time basis
The post-holder must develop a good working relationship with the Region’s other functions as well as Directors, Executive Teams and Head Office personnel.
In addition to working alongside regionally–based colleagues on a daily basis, the post-holder will be required to develop a good rapport with staff in the operating business and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the Reception Area is tidy at all times.

Ensure efficient operation of the switchboard. Using speed dials to contact staff out of the office where appropriate. Occasional message taking is also required.

Ensure computer is switched on and that Emails are checked regularly.

Answer the switchboard ‘Good Afternoon, Crest Nicholson, ‘name’ speaking’. Calls must be answered within three rings where possible.

Ensure all messages are passed immediately to the intended recipient or their Team Secretary via email.

Welcome all visitors courteously, insist they sign the Visitors Book and notify the appropriate member of staff of their arrival. Give visitors a visitor pass and put the corresponding number in the visitors book

Book meeting rooms on the computerised system making sure meeting rooms are not double booked.

Update all internal telephone, site lists and mobile phone lists on a regular basis and issued to staff.

Controlling the switchboard system, altering various functions such as names, voicemail pass codes and creating greetings.

You may be required to assist with other administrational duties such as typing for the EA.

You may be required to assist our Sales Department with Mail-Outs.

Any other reasonable duties that may be required.
Key skills and experience required for this role:
