A new opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join our client's site in Nursling, Southampton. This is a varied role supporting our client's friendly central accounts team and customers.
What you’ll be doing:

Posting and allocation of customer payments.

Reconciling unallocated payments
-
Amending/monitoring credit limits
-
Monitor general & personal email boxes and attend to in a timely manner

Dealing with customer queries via email and phone
-
Sending out monthly customer statements
-
Sending copy invoices
-
Credit control
-
Setting up new customer accounts in line with company procedure.

Other ad hoc duties
Requirements
-
Previous experience in a similar role is preferable
-
Familiarity with accounting systems within previous work experience
-
Knowledge of Excel and Word
-
Effective communicator
-
Attention to detail

Hours:
Monday to Friday (Apply online only) (40 hours per week)
