Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Greater Manchester, UK
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum plus expenses
Contract Type: Full-time
My client are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee their upcoming projects in Preston, Crewe, and Prestwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the fit-out construction process are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and lead site personnel and subcontractors.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and site records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Deliver projects within the allocated time frame and budget.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office fit-out projects.
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel to various project locations as listed.
The first three projects will be located in Preston (12 weeks), Crewe (8 weeks), and Prestwich (6 weeks). Candidates must have relevant fit-out experience, particularly within the office sector, and be based in or willing to relocate to Greater Manchester.
