Job Title: Support Housing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Support Housing Managerwho has strong office skills and preferably a basic understanding of the Social Housing Sector.
Duties of a Support Housing Manager:
• Managing each home to promote the needs and choices for service users by regular plans reviews, assessments, and formulating care plans.
• Provide a fantastic customer-focused experience for all tenant by ensuring that care and support housing schemes and properties are well managed, and the environment is well-maintained.
• Working closely with tenants and support agencies to understand environmental, property, and tenancy issues to ensure tenancies are sustained.
• Develop local knowledge of the communities and neighbourhoods in which the supported housing operates, and establish partnerships to meet the needs of the tenants and the community.
• Working well with internal departments and external organisations to ensure tenants are able to maintain tenancies.
• The ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate commitment to the company’s vision, values, strategic aims, and objectives.
• Keep up-to-date with current care and supported housing issues, standards, best practices, and legislation.
• Train and supervise support workers, alongside creating and monitoring their progress.
• Verify care and welfare reports and trackers to keep the support plan up-to-date, per tenant, per property.
• Maintain an auditable record of the welfare provisions across all supported housing schemes.
Skills and experience
• Experience working in the social housing sector.
• A good understanding of MS office suite.

Our client is a small run company who are the market leaders in their specialist field providing support housing needs to over 70 Local Authorities. They are looking for a Supported Housing Manager to join their team full time. Due to recent expansion and successfully securing new contracts, we are looking to recruit a Supported Housing Manager to join their small team.
