Health & Safety Advisor (North West - 2 to 3 month contract)
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join an established team. This role involves supporting the health and safety (H&S) requirements of client’s projects, providing on-site advice and assistance to project teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement H&S requirements and objectives for client and project teams.

Advise project delivery teams on the H&S Management system, strategy, and objectives.

Provide structured, risk-based H&S support and advice for projects.

Conduct site audits and inspections, ensuring project management and supervision teams also perform these tasks.

Liaise with customer H&S representatives and attend relevant meetings and forums.
-
Assist and support the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-miss events to identify root causes and preventive measures.

Assist with client or external H&S audits as needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).

Membership in IOSH.

NEBOSH Construction Certificate.

Additional skills and qualifications in technical areas.

Experience in highly regulated industries such as oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, nuclear, etc.
