What you'll be doing;
You will be leading and delivering the Sales Strategy for all Veolia UK's Agricultural Services, that include activities such as food surplus/waste management, animal bedding made from recycled materials, animal feed, low-carbon fertilisers, land restoration, biosolids management, etc. The main responsibilities are:
Establish sales strategy and associated targets (revenue, margin, etc.) for all services, in collaboration with the General Managers from all different sub-teams;
Set consistent sales / marketing procedures and standards across all sub-teams to ensure coordinated sales approach;
Work with Head of Corporate Development to develop the team's annual budget;
Deliver annual revenue, margin targets for all sub-divisions, through team of Sales Representatives;
Improve customer retention by training Sales team and implementing new processes in that respect;
Establish Marketing strategy and associated budget for all divisions in collaboration with the General Managers from all the different sub-teams;
Work closely with Veolia's Marketing Department as well as our Industrial, Commercial and Municipal divisions to identify new leads;
Active participation in customer meetings to identify customers' needs and promote our Agricultural solutions; .
Active participation in Veolia's internal events, workshops, etc. to improve visibility of Veolia's Agricultural solutions within the Group;
Support bidding processes undertaken by Veolia's Industrial, Commercial, and Municipal divisions;
Direct line manager to 4 to 6 Sales Representatives;
Responsible for setting sales / customer retention targets for all direct reports; and
Responsible for managing performance and career evolution plans for all direct reports.
You will be reporting to the Head of Corporate Development and Agricultural Services.
What we're looking for;
Experience in Sales role (minimum of 5 years)
Experience in managing a Sales team is fundamental
Experience in selling a wide range of services is a plus
Expertise / knowledge of grocery retail, F&B sector would be a plus
Knowledge of the farming sector would be beneficial
