Role Summary:
As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in the success of the business. Your mission is to drive significant sales growth by creating and executing sales plans, building lasting client relationships, and championing a commitment to sustainability.
Main Responsibilities:
Sales Planning and Strategy:

Create and implement a strategic sales plan tailored to the UK market, focusing on environmental and industrial services.

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends and incorporate findings into the sales strategy.

Establish clear revenue and margin targets and develop a roadmap to achieve these goals within specified timeframes.
Sales Approach and Conversion Management:

Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring all entries are actively managed to progress towards successful closure.

Identify and nurture potential leads, transforming them into clear business opportunities.

Employ effective sales techniques and innovative approaches to convert leads into profitable sales, ensuring a high conversion rate.
Client Relationships:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a positive and professional client experience.

Collaborate with the finance team to assess new clients' credit risks and ensure they meet acceptable standards before commencing trade.

Implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty, driving repeat business and referrals.
Reporting and Analysis:

Deliver detailed monthly reports on pipeline opportunities, conversion rates, and sales achievements.

Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Provide accurate sales forecasts and adjust strategies based on performance data and market conditions.
Financial Success:

Successfully deliver agreed-upon revenue and margin targets through effective sales and negotiation techniques.

Ensure all proposals are financially viable and align with the company's Delegation of Authority framework.

Monitor and manage sales-related expenses to maximize profitability.
Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified to Honours Degree level in a relevant subject and/or a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.

UK Driving Licence.

Recognised qualification in Sales (desirable).

Proven track record in sales within the environmental or industrial services sector, preferably with experience in the energy industry.
Person Specification:

Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build and manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Understanding of sales, sales processes, environmental markets and customer relations.

Familiarity with financial principles and credit risk assessment.
