My client is a specialist RC/Groundworks sub contractor based in Hertfordshire.
They have doubled turnover in the last 12 months and due to this they are restructuring certain parts of the business so the FC/Management Accountant will be a crucial part of this to ensure the business is operating in a commercially viable way.
Key tasks will be as follows:

Produce ‘Cash’ and ‘Cost’ flow forecasts and accurately manage the company bank position.

Reconcile bank statements.

Manage HMRC in recovery and payment of VAT.

Produce Monthly Overhead Statements and reconcile with annual Overheads Budget.

Produce monthly Management Accounts.

Tax Planning in both R&D tax recovery and Corporation Tax

Year End Audit Support and Preparation of Accounts

Management of Company Credit Rating and level of Credit with Suppliers.

Prepare Monthly Retention report.

Support the Head of Accounts (and HR) in all Financial matters.

Understand and operate the company accounting system (Integrity Evolution)
