An opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Design Engineer to join our team within the Parker Technical Services division. As the Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for performing load calculations, equipment selection and co-ordinating with other trades to ensure we delivery an optimal system performance. In addition, you will be involved in reviewing external design solutions and will be required to conduction site inspections and provide technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Electrical systems for industrial and commercial premises.
Design calculations including selection of equipment, lighting, cable sizing, maximum demand, containment, lifecycle etc.
Assist the estimating team by sourcing quotations from suppliers and vetting quotations for compliance with employer’s requirement, specifications, and standards etc.
Technical support for the project teams
Stay up to date with the latest regulations and standards and merging technologies.
Review design and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
Co-ordinate with clients, architects, and project teams
Skills and Experiences

Specific Qualifications
HND in Electrical Engineering
Proficient using CAD/Revit
Proficient in Trimble design software
