IT Service Desk Manager is now sought by a rapidly expanding specialist manufacturing Organisation. Who are offering a career development opportunity in team leadership and management.
This is an exciting greenfield opportunity to establish a service desk from scratch.
On joining the Organisation, you will work closely with the senior management team providing hands-on 1st and 2nd line support of end user computing desktops alongside critical business application support. At the same time, you will lead the recruitment of a service desk team and the establishment of a best practice IT support service.
To be successful you will be a Senior Application Support Analyst or IT service Desk Team Leader with the following skills and experience:
Commercial Application / IT support experience
Basic / intermediate SQL skills
Proficient in the use of Jira SDM software
Previous mentoring / leadership experience
Some involvement in team recruitment
ITIL qualification or experience
Can-do attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
