BREEAM Assessor

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplined consultancy based in Leeds, who are made up of experienced building compliance providers. They are on the lookout for a BREEAM Assessor to report to their sustainability manager and take the lead on BREEAM projects across the UK.
Role responsibilities for a BREEAM Assessor include:
Deliver BREEAM Assessments from early design stages of projects through to project certification
Help contribute to the delivery of BREEAM projects and ensure they comply with UK building legislations and standards
Work alongside architects, engineers, and members of the design team to ensure the environmental impacts of projects are minimised
Produce technical reports and relevant sustainability strategies and statements
Take the lead on current projects as well as securing new projects for the companyThe ideal BREEAM Assessor will have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience within a BREEAM Assessor role or another relevant role
BREEAM New Construction qualification is essential
Relevant experience delivering BREEAM assessments from project inception through to completion
BREEAM Fit out or Refurb qualifications would be beneficial
A degree within an environmental science or sustainability field would be desirable
