The role
This role internally will be known as a Data & Reporting Officer and will sit within the Strategic Asset Management team. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
The role holder will be pivotal in monitoring and ensuring the timely implementation of the Strategic Asset Management Operating Plan and the Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Strategy as one of the projects that underpin its successful delivery.
The primary responsibility of the role holder will be to monitor and report on progress against the decarbonisation of Orbit’s asset portfolio, identifying risks and where mitigation actions may be required.
Track the overall NZC programme plan through the development of robust processes and co-ordination of activities, resources, equipment, and information.
Support the NZC Energy Performance Operations Manager and act as the information hub and responsible reporting officer for the overall Strategic Asset Management Operating plan and Net Zero Carbon Strategy
This role is part of our Property directorate where you'll help us to lead the way keeping our promise to more than 100,000 customers.
What you'll achieve
Responsible for producing internal and external project reports including monthly and interim decarbonisation project progress report(s) for the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)
Tracking status of Strategic Asset Management Operating Plan and Net Zero Carbon Strategy deliverables and milestones and providing weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
Working with the Finance Business Partner to track and record project spend and ensuring grant claim forms are completed correctly
Identification of suitable grant funding opportunities and supporting bid applications
Provide project office support including production and maintenance of risk registers, benefits tracking, change controls and meeting support etc.
What you'll bring
Essential skills
Experience in a Project Management Office environment (PMO qualifications are a benefit but not essential)
Experienced in preparing reports and summarising data
Be able to draw conclusions from complex data, presenting it back in a clear and concise manner.
Experience of managing small projects or substantial parts of the project lifecycle
Financial and analytical skills
