Special Testing Ltd is a member of the Special Steel Group of Companies and is one of the leading Material Testing companies in the country. We have critical approvals including ISO 17025 & Nadcap that cover us carrying out; Mechanical, Metallurgical, Corrosion and Chemical Analysis testing.
In support of our continued growth, a vacancy has arisen for a Technical Administrator to work within our well-established and ambitious company.
This is a permanent full time contract, 37.5 hour per week, 8:30 to 5:00, Monday to Friday.
Skills Required
The successful candidate will work closely with the other members of our busy team to create test orders on our bespoke business system.
Applicants must be reliable and highly motivated. They will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work to instruction. They will be a methodical, accurate person, and take a sense of satisfaction from ensuring we get the testing parameters right every time for our customers.
Typical duties will include; technical review of customer orders, liaising with customers on queries, and general admin duties.
You will need to be a team player, happy to offer support & guidance to your team.
All candidates are expected to work within our company’s Health and Safety policies.
We have a great working environment as the business operates from a modernised facility that recently underwent further significant investment.
They will report directly to the Technical Manager.
