In the pivotal role of Senior Business Owner - Exams Processing Transformation, you will be responsible for the development of a suite of new products and processes that will enable our operational teams to deliver high-quality exams for our customers, learners and regulators.
Working collaboratively across the Operations Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders you will envision the exams process of the future, driving developments from early-stage exploration through to live use. You will also lead and support a team of Product Owners who manage the individual products within the programme.
As the Senior Business Owner - Exams Processing Transformation, you will maximise the value that the programme delivers by representing the UK and International Product Groups, ensuring that the products and processes are streamlined, consistent, user-friendly and aligned with the overall product strategy and roadmap. You will also plan, track and evaluate the business benefits and value delivered by the programme, ensuring that they meet the needs and expectations of our Product Groups and customers.

About you
We are looking for a senior leader who can manage and lead operational systems teams in a digital transformation context. You will have the vision, skills and experience to drive change and ensure that our operations are efficient, effective and customer focused. You will be able to influence senior stakeholders and secure their commitment and buy-in to the change programme, and have the financial acumen and budget responsibility to deliver profitable processes.
You will ideally have experience and understanding of the UK and international educational sector, especially examinations processing. You will also have experience in process improvement frameworks and methodologies (such as six sigma) and experience in delivering them in large scale operations and change. You will also have experience of working within a regulated sector and an understanding of the global context and markets in which we operate and the complexity of our varied customers, including experience in product management and launching new products and experiences for users.
With high levels of intercultural competence and with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external colleagues and stakeholders, you will be open-minded, curious and ready to learn, exploring and experimenting with the latest thinking and approaches on operational delivery.
You will be proactive, collaborative, organised and a natural problem solver, excited by the opportunity to grow the business and yourself. You will also have organisational mindfulness, being perceptive of what is happening around you, in your own team, in other teams and above you in the organisation, to lead effectively.
