Overview
Everest People Solutions are recruiting a Senior Technical Account Manager for a major food processing company in Northwest England. This role involves leading the technical relationship between the company and major UK retailers, focusing on Food Safety and Quality standards. As the successful candidate, you will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team, driving customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Senior Technical Account Manager

Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical contact for food safety and quality, ensuring customer requirements are met and communicated effectively across the site.

Customer Relations: Represent the company at customer meetings, including development and technical reviews, to maintain and strengthen relationships.

Product Oversight: Manage product launches and performance reviews, including specification creation and maintenance for raw materials and finished goods.

Quality Assurance: Regularly review product quality and KPIs, driving improvements and ensuring compliance with customer and internal standards.

Compliance Management: Work with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to legal and industry standards, and manage customer requests and complaints professionally.

Policy Development: Develop and update company policies, systems, and procedures to meet customer needs, certification standards, and industry regulations.

Team Collaboration: Coordinate with site teams to implement corrective actions for any non-conformities and ensure continuous improvement in quality and safety.
Requirements for the Senior Technical Account Manager

Experience: 5+ years in a technical or quality role within the food industry, preferably with exposure to UK retailers.

Education: Degree in Science/Food Science or equivalent industry experience.

Leadership: Proven experience in managing teams and driving performance.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety standards, retail label design, and legal compliance.

Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the UK with a full UK Driving Licence.
