An exciting opportunity has come up for a Customer Account Executive to work for one of the world’s biggest packaging distribution businesses in glass, container, tin, metal and closure packaging to the beverage, food, personal care, pharmaceutical, household care and industrial markets.
Customer Service Executive
£20,000 - £26,000 DOE (Higher with leadership qualities)
Hadleigh (Ipswich Area)
8:30 – 17:00PM working hours – (37.5 hours)
Out client is offering a salary reflecting experience including 25 days holiday plus bank, plus an option to buy/sell 5 more, 4-5% pension, private health care, perkbox which includes access to online healthcare plus points scheme to earn extra cash vouchers, bike to work. Share scheme, which can pay out twice a year.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure quotations, PO receipt/Order Entry/RMA tasks are carried out in a timely manner with excellent attention to detail.
Support external sales team.
Build relationships of trust with customers.
Manage customer accounts with various market industries.
Occasional customer/supplier visits.
Manage stock, purchase and sales orders.
Handle all complaints.
Manage the Service filing system
Help with the creation of training.
Skills Required
3+ years’ experience in an office environment
Proficient knowledge of packaging, manufacturing or industrial industry
Ability to work with all levels of company staff
Able to understand customer forecasting.
Microsoft Word, Excel
Outlook Email or similar system
Use of a CRM system
Use of Sage, SAP or similar accounts package – desirable but not essential
