Penns Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for a part time Accounts Assistant to join a valued client based in Minworth. You will play a key role in supporting the efficient accounts operation of the Company by carrying our Accounts/Bookkeeping tasks. You will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Hours are 24 hrs per week Monday to Thursday 9am-3pm.
Duties will include:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (NAV).

Processing and recording financial transactions to include purchases, sales, receipts and payments.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are addressed.

Supporting accounts payable through processing invoices, verifying accuracy.

Handling accounts receivable, issuing invoices, tracking payments and following up on overdue accounts.

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.

Supporting the end-of-year financial audit by providing necessary information.
Skills required:

Previous experience in a similar role

Experience of working with accounting software

Proficient in Microsoft Suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook

Good time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment

Excellent organisational and accuracy skills are a must

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Initiative with a proactive attitude.
