We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our team within Vistry Works, at our Warrington office. As our Finance Analyst, you will support the Finance Manager in providing a comprehensive accounting service to the staff and management of the Timber Frame factory.

Actively studying towards a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
Manufacturing and costing experience gained in a similar role
Developing the ability to analyse, model and interpret data and to self-manage your workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A good level of mathematical ability, problem-solving skills, and a methodical and logical approach to providing an accounting service for the region
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail across each aspect of your work
Ability to form and maintain working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across the wider business especially with your local management teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a proficient understanding of IT packages and softwareDesirable…

Processing transactions for the Timber Frame factory and assisting with preparing management accounts with variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparation of monthly VAT and CIS returns.
Assist in the preparation of the weekly cashflow forecast.
Work with the factory team to analyse and understand stock variances and KPIs.
Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of the monthly Business Review pack.
Assist in the Full-Year audit taking ownership of queries where necessary.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
Ad-hoc project work to improve the Division's current systems and processes.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
You will continuously seek to find process efficiencies in the current financial control and reporting processes, streamlining, and improving our approach wherever possible.Finally, let's tell you a bit more about us…
