One of our prestigious North West clients are looking for a ambitious Restaurant Manager for this excellent award-winning brasserie located in near Nelson. They offer the perfect combination of traditional classics, chef’s daily specials, and eclectic mix of modern British dishes, fused with influences from around the world.
For the role, you must have experience of working as a Restaurant Manager or looking to take the next step up into the role. .
Responsibilities:

Operate the restaurant efficiently to maximise profitability.

Ensure the guest is the main focus of operations.

Control labour costs.
-
Conduct team training sessions.
-
Adhere to all Food Safety and Health and Safety responsibilities.

Manage day-to-day restaurant operations efficiently and effectively.

Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge.

Conduct pre-shift briefings.
-
Lead from the front during service periods.
-
Implement and maintain restaurant service standards.

Manage the Restaurant Diary effectively.
-
Assist with the recruitment and selection of restaurant staff.

Conduct staff appraisals and development reviews.
-
Maintain a disciplined and motivated team to reduce turnover.

Ensure all new starters are competently inducted into the department.
