South Holland District Council are seeking a dedicated Neighbourhoods Project Manager to join our team to work across The South and East Lincolnshire Council Partnership. This pivotal role will involve delivering a significant programme of works within the Neighbourhoods Directorate, which includes refuse and recycling collections, fleet maintenance, cleansing, and grounds maintenance services across three councils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and support the delivery of neighbourhood services projects, particularly in waste management, ensuring compliance with council and government requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams, decision-makers, stakeholders, and delivery partners across multiple councils to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee project progress, manage budgets, and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring that outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
- Communication: Maintain clear and transparent communication with advisory groups, decision-makers, and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Proven track record in managing local government projects, with a focus on waste or neighbourhood services. Strong understanding of project management principles and experience in contract management, procurement, and partnership development.
- Qualifications: A relevant degree or professional qualification in project/programme management (such as AGILE or Prince2) is desirable, but significant experience will also be considered.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and risk management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
