We are looking for a Registered manager to join our team overseeing our two residential services in Crewkerne, Middle Path and Barns Close. We're looking for someone who can work as a key motivator to a very dedicated team, driving the service forward to ensure we deliver unlimited possibilities for the people we support.
The properties are conveniently located just under a mile apart and support eight adults across the two homes.
A day in the life of a Registered Manager would include:

Leading the day-to-day running of the service and support team

Providing leadership, direction and support, guidance and mentoring to staff within the service, whether that be with supervisions, 1-2-1, or weekly team briefings

Managing all CQC compliance and best practices across the service

Setting objectives that are clear, aspirational, and achievable for our colleagues and the people we support

Providing on-call support to colleagues on a rota basis

Ensuring the home is well maintained, liaising with our health and safety and maintenance teams where appropriate
Our ideal candidate:

NVQ level 4 or 5 in social care/management (or working towards)

Autism qualification preferred

Reliability and commitment to delivering best practice

Excellent organisational, interpersonal and report writing skills
-
A readiness to work un-social hours on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and sleep-in duties

Ability to lead and motivate others, work as part of a team and strive for excellence

A proven track record working with autism and challenging behaviour
