Job Title: Wholesale Business Development Manager - Renewable Energy

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the renewable energy industry, requires a Business Development Manager to help drive their sales growth. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will be dedicated to creating and applying an effective sales strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing a business strategy focused on financial gain, arranging business development meetings with prospective clients, and expanding the clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales orders, ensuring adherence to established rules and guidelines
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
- Adaptability and a positive approach to tasks are essential
Requirements and Skills:
- You are a clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- MUST have experience in Business Development, sales or a relevant role in the Renewable Energy Industry and / or Wholesale
- Proven sales record
- Customer support experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Proficiency in English
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
