Team Leader - Supported Living
Location: Blackpool
Salary: Up to £15 per hour - Up to £27,872 per annum when permanent, depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, flexible to include evenings and weekends
This company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee a high-quality supported living service for individuals with learning disabilities in Blackpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of the service, ensuring it meets the needs and preferences of service users and their families. Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring service users receive individualised, person-centred support.
Promoting independence, confidence, and competence among service users.
Managing staff performance and development to maintain high standards of care.
Implementing detailed management guidelines and support plans.
Promoting a positive approach to working with service users' families and the community.Benefits:

Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users.
Encourage and support service users in making choices and decisions.
Promote the rights and entitlements of people with learning disabilities.
Support service users in accessing social, leisure, work, and educational opportunities.
Ensure staff follow detailed management guidelines and individual programmes.
Monitor and ensure the well-being of service users, including regular health checks and medication management.Essential Requirements:
At least two years of experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
Experience in staff supervision and management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
