What you’ll be doing
Provide an environment management service to planned releases, projects and run the bank activities.
Delivering changes to tools, standards, processes and procedures to improve the effectiveness and/or efficiency of the team.
Managing the safe delivery of applications through the project lifecycle, using appropriate tools and processes, looking for opportunities to improve and enhance both tools and processes.
Responsible for pro-actively delivering continuous improvements within the Route to Live team.
Becoming a key team player displaying outstanding behaviours and acting as a role model for your colleagues.
Proactively identifying and supporting delivery of continual improvement initiatives to demonstrably reduce risk and increase performance, efficiency and productivity.
We need you to have
Experience of working with Fujitsu Mainframes and/or Weblogic
Clear evidence of ability to prioritise multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
Experience of VB App or .Net
Experience in Database toolsets; e.g TOAD, MS SQL Studio
Familiarity with Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2 EE)
