Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of quantity surveying duties including cost control, procurement, and contract administration.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare tender documents.
- Monitor project progress and ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters and negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams to achieve quality and cost-effective outcomes.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in quantity surveying.
- Significant experience specifically in social housing refurbishment is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
