The Role:
Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager this crucial role has control of accurate, timely invoice and payment processing to ensure continued successful business relationships. This role is high volume so would suit someone that thrives in a busy environment and can potentially spot ways to utilise our Access Financials purchase ledger system to streamline and refine our processes.
Responsibilities
Providing accounting support.
Check and process high volumes of purchase invoices, ensuring approval.
Statement Reconciliation.
Managing payment runs and investigating payment queries.
Processing ad-hoc payment requests.
Maintaining supplier records and sanction searches on potential new suppliers.
Demonstrating good judgement in questioning current processes/procedures and submitting recommendations for the development of more efficient solutions.
Qualifications
Desirable qualifications and experience:
IT skills with good knowledge of excel.
Bookkeeping.
Numerically accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Can work on own initiative.
Ability to work under pressure.
The ability to work in a team as well as on your own initiative.
Positive innovative Can-Do attitude.
