A new opportunity for an experienced Senior Payroller is available with an established payroll bureau in Brighton who have a stable and friendly payroll team and are looking to recruit for the first time in a long time.
As a Senior Payroller you will:

Work in a customer facing Payroll position dealing with client queries via email and phone

Process weekly and monthly pay runs, sending to clients for checking and approval

Balance HMRC year to date figures, create reports and payslips. Create BACS payment reports

Process statutory payments
-
Investigate queries relating to HMRC underpayment/credit notices

Process FPS/EPS submissions
-
Deputise in the absence of Team Manager
Skills & experience required:
-
Expert payroll knowledge to include processing statutory payments, new starters and leavers

Recent payroll legislation knowledge

Experience working in a customer / client facing payroll role in a bureau or accountancy firm

Strong numeracy skills

Able to build successful relationships with team and customers

This is a full time permanent role offering between £27,000 and £30,500 based on previous experience.
