Assistant Enablement Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Enablement Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Enablement Manager, you will oversee the management of approximately 8 staff members, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our service users. This role involves a combination of administrative tasks, staff supervision, and direct engagement with service users and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Management:
Conduct supervision sessions and performance development reviews for staff.
Monitor attendance and timekeeping using CM reports.
Assess staff competence in medication administration.
Conduct regular observations of staff members in the community.
Pathway Tracking:
Track the pathway of adults referred into our service.
Ensure accurate information is logged using our in-house IT system, Eclipse.
Facilitate effective communication with service users, families, and staff.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Experience working in a domiciliary care setting is essential.
Management experience within a domiciliary care context.
Familiarity with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and regulations.
Additional Details:
Working Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm)
Pay: £16 - £18 per hour
On-Call System: Willingness to participate in a rolling rota for out-of-hours on-call duties (additional pay provided).
Mileage: Reimbursement for home visits if required (workers with business insurance).
