We are recruiting on behalf of Europe’s leading suppliers of malted barley and specialty malted cereals to the world’s brewing, distilling and food industries.
Due to their continued development, growth, and success they have any exciting opportunity at their Great Ryburgh, Fakenham site for an Electrical Engineer on call to join their friendly and dynamic team.
The role offers a competitive salary with fantastic opportunities for progression.
£44,935 per annum
Working a 4-week shift pattern covering Monday - Friday, on-call 1 in 4 with overtime paid for call outs.
Rotational shift pattern is:
2pm – 10pm - 1 week – on call week
6am – 3pm – 1week
7am – 4pm – 2 weeks
3 hours minimum is paid for any call outs.
Overtime – Monday – Friday – time and a third – Saturday – time and a half and Sunday – double time.
Schedule:
• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Purpose of the role
This role will be responsible for completing planned and reactive maintenance of all plant equipment to ensure the required levels of malt production are achieved, in accordance with GMP, all trade-related legislation and best practice.
The company will support electrical conversion training if applicable.
Key responsibilities:
Complete planned and reactive maintenance.
Contribute efficiency improvements around all areas of the site.
Contribute to continuous improvement on site by maintaining a vigilant approach to your work, identifying, and reporting any areas of interest to site management.
Complete maintenance documentation/computer entry in line with company procedures.
Recommend improvements to the operation of equipment, where appropriate.
Contribute to the installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant, where appropriate.
Maintain workflow via use of CMMS.

Experience:
Essential
Apprenticeship Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification, BTEC, HNC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
Experience in using a computer-based maintenance system.
Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrable ability in Mechanical Testing, fault finding, installation & inspection.
Excellent problem- solving ability.
Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
Quality awareness
Ability to work well within a team.

Material Handling Systems, Bucket Elevators, Belt Conveyors, Screws, Diverters etc.
ATEX Regulations, Ratings and Zoning of areas
Electrical controls/PLC systems
