As a Production Scheduler, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing team, coordinating and optimising our production schedule to meet customer demands efficiently. You will collaborate with various departments, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure resources are allocated effectively and production timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, considering customer orders, production capacities, inventory levels, and managing minimum stock requirements.

Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or issues.

Routinely calculate minimum raw material stock quantities and finished goods stock quantities.

Work with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

Calculate sales usage and its impact on production capacities.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process.

Communicate with sales and customer service teams to provide updates on order status and delivery times.

Use production planning software to track and report on key metrics and performance indicators.

Escalate schedule slippage issues to relevant stakeholders promptly to minimise impact.

Analyse and implement changes in economic batch quantities to optimise production efficiency.

Participate in initiatives to improve scheduling processes and production efficiency.
