Chase Taylor recruitment are currently working with a successful window and door manufacturer who are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join their team.
Our client, I have been manufacturing and supplying aluminium and upvc windows, doors for 45 years, due to their loyal customer base and quality product range.
The right person for this role will come from a Technical Sales role within the fenestration industry with extensive experience using CAD, Logikal and windows designer, as well as good knowledge of fenestration installation, estimating, quoting and aftercare.
The role:

Monitor Sales team and create and track sales targets

Present technical information to new and existing customers including helping customers with product installation issues

Sell and promote company product into showrooms, architects and installation business’s

Be main point of contact for some of the larger customers

Update the companies CRM system

Troubleshoot any windows designer and logical software issues and updates

Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
-
Create your own strategies and tactics
-
Create bespoke CAD drawings
-
Processing windows and doors products
-
Sending quotations to customers for complex jobs
-
Liaise with suppliers
-
Working days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The candidate:

Must have experience within a technical sales role window and door industry
-
Have experience using CAD, Windows Designer, Logikal & Excel is a must
-
Experience dealing with AluK or Cortizo is desirable

Good understanding of window and door installation process is a must
-
Be technical minded and sales driven
-
Good negotiation and communication skills
-
Be able to manage and motivate a team, including managing own workload
-
Full UK driving license
