Accounts Assistant | Shrewsbury/Work from Home | Permanent | £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with a strong work ethic, who would love to work in a varied role from the comfort of your own home?
I am delighted to be working with a professional organisation who are looking for a diligent person to join their small and friendly team and provide support in a varied finance role, where no 2 days are the same. You will be provided with all the tools that allow you to work from home and be focussed on providing accurate and timely work, whilst building strong relationships with your team, remotely. Excellent communication skills are key to working remotely as is the desire to “do a good job”, to the best of your ability. You will be required to attend the Shrewsbury Office once a month for a team meeting.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledgers.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Month end reconciliations.
- Foreign currency transactions where applicable.
- Liaising with non-finance colleagues.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- At least 2 years in a similar role.
- Ideally AAT qualified or studying.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong IT skills., especially Excel, Word and proven competency in accounting packages.
