Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Part-Time HR Advisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide expert advice and support on a wide range of HR matters, ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Guidance: Provide clear and accurate guidance on HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent application across the organization.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee relations issues, offering mediation and conflict resolution support as needed.
- Performance Management: Support the performance management process, including performance appraisals, feedback sessions, and development plans.
- Compliance: Ensure the company's HR practices comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- HR Projects: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives that support the company's strategic goals.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR role.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Education: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
Hours: This is a part-time position, requiring 25 hours per week. Flexible working hours can be arranged.
Salary: Pro-rata £28k - £35k, pro-rata for part-time hours
