Management Accountant – Hull - £45,000 - £50,000
An exceptional opportunity to play a key role in a fast growing business, who have recently become PE backed and expected to double in size in the next 3-5 yrs. As Management Accountant you will manage all aspects of the financial disciplines of the business including management and financial accounts, cash management, stock, balance sheet integrity, detailed analysis, budgets and forecasting. You will support the CFO with various projects including systems implementation, developing controls and processes, mentoring your team and M&A work. This role has rapid development to become Head of Finance and beyond for someone who is driven to succeed and grow with a business.

Hybrid workingManagement Accountant Responsibilities:
Prepare management accounts, including detailed analysis and communicate to stakeholders
Overall responsibility for all financial aspects of the board pack
Develop, support and lead a small finance team
Budgets and forecasting
Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, manage compliance and manage the annual audit
Partner the senior leadership team, evaluate financial models, provide insight to support decision making and make commercial recommendations
Cashflow management and forecasting
Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system
Review and develop internal controls, processes and procedures
Prepare detailed analysis of costs, engage stakeholders and optimise efficiencies
Support with acquisitions, due diligence and integration of businesses into the group reportingRequired Skills & Experience:
ACCA or CIMA Qualified or studying later stages
Sound background in a senior finance role including strong management accounting skills
Previous experience within a manufacturing, distribution of logistics environment desirable
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
Ability to embrace and drive change, with a continuous improvement mentality
Proactive and driven individual, who wants to add value and be part of an exciting future
Problem solving mentality and ability to develop models to identify discrepancies within data
Very high IT skills, specifically Excel and knowledge of ERP systems
Confidence to challenge other business stakeholders and not accept the status quo
Private equity, acquisition or due diligence experience is an advantage but not essential
