Key Responsibilities for Account Manager:

Oversee client portfolios, ensuring accurate and compliant financial records.

Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other reports, adhering to regulations.

Provide financial assessments, tax planning, and strategic advice.

Stay updated on UK tax laws and regulations to ensure client compliance.

Assist with accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies; charity and trust accounting knowledge is a plus.

Deliver exceptional service, resolve inquiries, and maintain strong client relationships.

Address inquiries from HM Revenue and Customs.

Enhance accounting processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Prepare capital gains tax reports, inheritance tax planning, and support business sales.

Manage confirmation statements, company formations, and other secretarial tasks.

Represent the firm at networking events.

Adhere to ethical standards and anti-money laundering laws.
Qualifications for Account Manager:

Minimum 3 years of experience in accountancy practice.

AAT or ATT qualified with current membership.

Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations.

Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., Sage Taxation).

Excellent organisational, detail-oriented, and communication skills.

Practice accounting experience preferred.
