German speaking Administrator/Progress Chaser required to work in Buying team of international procurement business. Remote working opportunities after initial training but you should ideally live within commuting distance of our client’s Essex facility as some office presence may be required from time to time.
Your excellent communication and administrative skills will enable you to progress purchase orders for a range of commodities with buyers in the UK and mainland Europe.
The Administrator/Progress Chaser will flag up any supply issues such as shortages or delays and liaise internally with the Buying team and externally with suppliers/logistics companies.
Full fluency in German is required and proficiency in Microsoft Office, (including Excel), is essential together with proven administrative experience and good communication and organisational skills acquired in an office environment.
Any relevant experience in a Purchasing/Supply Chain/Progress Chasing role would be useful but not essential
