We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Team Manager position to join our team here at Northamptonshire Children’s Trust. This is an exciting time to be joining us, as we are still in a period of significant transformation, now delivering services as a Trust for two unitary authorities across the county.
Job Duties:

Lead and manage a social care team for child protection, adoption, and fostering services.

Improve outcomes for vulnerable children in need of protection or care.

Deliver statutory responsibilities to safeguard and promote children's welfare.

Direct daily operations of social care teams, including workload allocation and case decisions.

Ensure duties comply with standards, procedures, and legislation to safeguard children.

Recruit, supervise, appraise, and develop staff to maintain an effective service.

Manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and inform budget planning.

Develop and maintain multi-agency partnerships for effective risk assessment and response.
-
Create and implement team plans to meet performance targets and improve services.

Ensure compliance with equality policies, health and safety requirements, and manage complaints.
