Due to growth and expansion, they require a Business Development Executive based in Central Scotland.
The Role
-
Selling a unique integrated media marketing solution.
-
Selling a portfolio of technology sector engagement media solutions to both new and existing clients.
-
Solutions include market leading digital media platforms, sponsorship, content services, exhibitions, events and conference opportunities.

Dealing with incoming leads, sourcing leads and using an established CRM system.
-
This is a structured solution-based sale.
-
You will identify and contact key decision makers.
-
Identify the customer needs then create, design and present innovative media solutions tailored to the client to ensure results.
-
Negotiating and presenting bespoke media solutions to key decision makers over the phone and face to face via remote screen technology
-
Once on board you will manage, nurture and provide great customer service, making them want to grow their business with you.

Building, nurturing and developing account relationships with key decision makers.
-
Targeting technology organisations looking to communicate with key decision makers.
-
Working with editorial, events, content production and advertising team to ensure campaign delivery and results.
-
Working to targets and deadlines.
-
Maintain an understanding of the technology market and competitor media.
-
Attending events.
-
Update and maintain company systems as appropriate.
The Candidate
-
Ideally you will have a strong track record of selling B2B media solutions from any sector (ie. newspaper, digital, magazines, events, exhibitions etc)

Alternatively you will have recruitment experience from the IT / Technology sector.

You will require an interest in the technology sector.

You will have a consultative approach to solution selling and a strong understanding of the media and marketing departments.

Creativity, drive, motivation, and passion to develop new business opportunities in a competitive market.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels.

You will be PC literate, creative, ambitious, articulate, proactive and quick thinking with the ability to develop long term relationships.

Able to demonstrate past success and a desire to be the best at what you do.
