We are currently looking for a Risk and Internal Controls Business Partner to join our Finance team based in Birmingham with minimal travel to other sites.

Main ResponsibilitiesMaintain compliance with SOx legislation; keeping up to date with emerging changes and reporting requirements and providing business wide coaching
Support business wide process and control improvement through standardisation and simplification, leveraging automation and data analytics
Work across business and IT functions to ensure maintenance of robust controls
Support development of a sustainable ERM process to evaluate, mitigate and monitor key financial and operational risks
Support development of a policy library and guidance documentation
Support the business during Internal Audit operational reviews and through closure of recommendations
Support the Tarmac compliance timetable to meet Internal and External Audit requirements
Simplify / rationalise the current suite of Internal Controls
Maintain SOx compliance throughout periods of business / process change
Ensure Policies and Procedures in place in critical business areas
Lead remediation of control deficiencies
Ensure Internal and External Audit requirements are metThe Ideal Candidate
Qualified Accountant or finalist (ACA or ACCA) with Audit Experience & in depth knowledge of current Sarbanes Oxley legislation
Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Risk Management
Working knowledge of SAP Skills
Strategic Thinking & effective communication
Coaching and delivery of training
Internal and External Stakeholder Management
Project management
Delivery to tight deadlines
