A well-established manufacturer based in East Yorkshire are looking for a Compliance officer to join their international growing company.
In the role you will be expected to:

Conduct compliance risk assessments on UK machinery

Review existing risk assessments and regulations

Develop and maintain technical folders and documentation

Complete validation reports for products
-
Taking measurements and conducting tests (temperature, UV readings, sound readings)

Work with procurement team and suppliers to maintain internal and 3rd party compliance

Conducting investigations for accidents reports and complaints for root cause analysis
-
Take part in review meetings to agree corrective actions

Respond to compliance queries

Keep stakeholders up to date with compliance issues

Keep track of noncompliance issues and liaise with departments to resolve these issues

Identify gaps in the evidence folders and follow up with design teams (and others) where information is required to support outcomes

Regularly updates sales and service teams on compliance requirements and impacts

Update personnel of changes or new requirements listed in the machinery directive and associated standards

Work with our external partners and consultants

Organise and attend meetings for specific circumstances

Annual review and update of standards library
The Candidate will have experience with:
-Carrying out risk assessments
-Producing and updating records/folders containing evidence of processes (Ideally to do with conformance or quality relation)
-Experience with root cause analysis, accident reports and evidence of them being able to solve the problem and fix it accordingly.
-Be able to communicate effectively and liaise with other departments on how to improve and adjust compliance accordingly.
-Have general knowledge of compliance in the UK and European market (CE knowledge would be advantageous).
-Experience in a lean manufacturing environment (preferably machinery)
-IT Proficient
-Experience working towards ISO9001/QMS
