Elevation Recruitment Group are searching for a Buyer to join an SME manufacturing business based in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain quotes and compare prices using purchasing procedures
Process purchase orders as needed
Arrange sub-contract machining, grinding, heat treatment, and painting services
Manage the Open Order Book and confirm dates in the system
Handle order acknowledgments and necessary filing
Chase suppliers for confirmations and expedite orders when required
Assist in resolving finance queries and price discrepancies
Previous Experience:
Demonstrate knowledge and experience working in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
Be a collaborative team player capable of independent initiative
Exhibit excellent communication and IT skills
Have experience using MRP /ERP systems
